Terms of Service

These terms apply to all purchases made through www.hopeandclaybylea.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Who I am:
Hope & Clay by Léa is a sole trader business run by Léa Maquin, based in the UK.

Orders:
All pieces are handmade by me, often in small batches. By placing an order, you acknowledge that handmade items may vary slightly from the photos shown; this is part of their charm and not a fault. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind and cannot be remade.

Pricing:
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. I reserve the right to update prices at any time, but the price shown at the time of your order is the price you will pay.

Payment:
Payment is taken securely through Squarespace Payments at the time of ordering. I do not store or have access to your card details.

Shipping:
I currently ship within the UK only, using Royal Mail. Most ready-to-ship orders will be dispatched within a few days of your order. Tracking information will be shared where available. I am not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail once your order has been dispatched, but I’m always here to help if anything goes wrong.

Custom and colour variation orders:
I occasionally offer colour variations of existing pieces on request. I will always send photos for approval before dispatching. Please note that because my work is handmade, I cannot guarantee an exact match to any previous piece.

Intellectual property:
All photos and designs on this website are my own. Please do not use them without my permission.

Limitation of liability:
Hope & Clay by Léa is a small sole trader business. My liability is limited to the value of your order. I am not responsible for any indirect losses resulting from a purchase.

Governing law:
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms:
I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
