I take your privacy seriously and will always handle your personal information with care. This policy explains what I collect, why I collect it, and how I use it.

Who I am:
Hope & Clay is a sole trader business run by Léa Maquin, based in the UK. You can contact me at hello@hopeandclaybylea.co.uk.
For my postal/business address, please get in touch by email and I will provide this on request.

What information I collect:
When you place an order, I collect your name, email address, and delivery address. This is the only personal information I collect. I do not have access to your payment details, these are handled securely by Squarespace Payments.

Why I collect it:
I use your information solely to process and fulfil your order, and to contact you if there is a question or issue with it. I will never use your details for marketing without your explicit consent, and I will never sell or share your information with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil your order (for example, passing your delivery address to Royal Mail).

How long I keep it:
I keep your order information for up to 6 years, as required by HMRC for tax purposes. After this period, it is securely deleted.

Your rights:
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, and object to how I use it. To exercise any of these rights, simply get in touch at hello@hopeandclaybylea.co.uk and I will respond within 30 days.

Cookies::
My website is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies to ensure the site functions properly. You can find full details of Squarespace's cookie policy at squarespace.com. I do not use any additional tracking or advertising cookies.

Changes to this policy: If I ever update this policy, I will post the new version on this page with an updated date at the top.
