Hello, I’m Léa !
About Hope & Clay
Hope & Clay started at Christmas 2024. I was looking for a special, personal Secret Santa gift for my sister and ended up buying a polymer clay starter kit. I got completely lost in the process, and one starter kit quickly turned into a full hobby, many tools, many colours, and way too many earrings.
Every piece I create is made in small batches, with focus and care. One of my favourite things about working with polymer clay is that scraps never go to waste; they get folded into new pieces, layered and mixed until something new appears. This means many of my handcrafted earrings can never be made again!
I design pieces I would genuinely want to wear, and sometimes pieces I wish I could wear (Pastels don’t suit me!). You'll find polymer clay dangle earrings above all, since they're my favourite to make. I’m also working on some rings, little trinkets, and some hair barrettes.
Made with care in the UK, with a little French touch. ✨
About me
I'm French, but England has been home since 2011.
My professional path has taken a few turns. I studied translation, spent some time in the corporate world, and eventually found my way into the charity sector, where I've spent the last decade, first supporting survivors of sexual violence, and more recently in the space of maternity inequalities.
At the beginning of 2026, I trained as a Singing Mamas leader, a movement that brings mums, older mums, and anyone who lives as a woman or is an ally to mums together to sing and find community.
I'm also a “Maman” to my wonderful little boy, who is the light of my life!
